our story

A story built by hand, with dreams, work, and love for Guriri.

From a dream to an idea

After 10 years working in the oil industry, Guilherme decided to change course and travel the world. His passion for travel and pizza sparked an idea: to learn how to make good pizza and, perhaps, work doing so abroad.

It all started at the barbecue.

The first tests were done in an improvised way: the pizza was balanced on skewers and covered with a pan to simulate an oven. What started among family members soon attracted friends, friends of friends, and sparked the idea of building a wood-fired oven.

Built one rotation at a time.

Without the resources to invest all at once, construction progressed little by little. During the week, Guilherme and his cousin worked on the construction; on weekends, they took turns helping to finance the next stage. Without enough tables, they resorted to pooling resources from home, relatives, and even neighbors. For a year, each turn helped build a new piece of the dream.

The Mirante opens its doors.

On December 28, 2017, Mirante officially opened. With no management experience and doing practically everything himself, Guilherme learned from his mistakes, created processes, and constantly sought improvement. Growth brought new challenges and showed that it was necessary to change the way things were managed.

A new phase

The arrival of Lauro Neto as a partner marked a new chapter. The partnership allowed for the sharing of responsibilities, the organization of processes, and prepared Mirante to continue growing. The pandemic brought difficulties, but also an opportunity to reorganize and standardize operations.

A story that continues

Today, Mirante has leaders in every sector, a more prepared team, and a constantly evolving management. But the essence remains the same since the first tests at the barbecue: to make things happen, improve at each stage, and build something special without losing its identity.

Mirante was never born from a finished project. It was built in a rotation, one idea and one dream at a time.
